2025 wasn’t really a writing year for me. A year of change rather than words. I did have an opportunity do do a few panels and speaking events, and short stories have been taking shape. Still, I’d rather look forward.

2026 is perhaps looking a little better, even if writing and editing aren’t my top priorities right now. I’m putting more hours into regular work, and a lot of time into rest and recovery. Writing obligations aren’t going to do me much good right now.

Writing for fun, however, has always been a good passtime, and I’ve started to fill notebooks with doodles, ideas, research, stray thoughts and whatever else comes to mind. For anyone out there looking for a way back to writing, this has been my go-to the last few months.
